AG Bambu Style began as a vision to bring bamboo design innovations into everyday life. Founded by Prof. A. G. Rao under SINE at IIT Bombay, the initiative builds on years of research at IDC’s Bambu Studio. By combining thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and eco-conscious practices, we create handcrafted products and educational tools that reflect our commitment to sustainability, social impact and creative collaboration with artisans. Each product is a result of careful technology transfer, using tools and techniques that maintain quality while empowering local makers.
